B. FARID AHMED history goes back to 1968 when MR. FARID AHMED started as machinist himself , In the beginning he started as labour, then he started his own workshop at Byculla, MUMBAI in 1969 with small capital & machinery. In the year of 1972 company become incorporate.

Up until the 1970 B. FARID AHMED consisted of jobbing shop, supporting the many farming , automobiles & industrial companies in

and around Mumbai. In early 1970 B. FARID AHMED acquired maiden contract from Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd, for setting up the drum plant in Dubai. (known as BALMER LAWRIE LLC. (U.A.E.) which was the first plant set up by B. FARID AHMED & also the starting what could be the beginning of world class manufacturing corporation. B. FARID AHMED obtained an engineering staff and increased their production capabilities to undertake the manufacturing equipment for the Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd and so on.
Owner Mr. FARID AHMED himself as qualified engineer has undertaken the leadership in making world class manufacturing .

FARID AHMED, now an international and domestic supplier of the machines for manufacturing DRUMS/BARRELS such as DECOILER, LEVELLER, SHEET EDGE GRINDER, BODY FORMING ROLLER, FLANGER, BEAD EXPANDER, CORRUGATOR, SINGLE/DOUBLE SEAMER, DRUM/BARREL TESTING EQUIPMENT, DEGREASING, WATER RINSING EQUIPMENT, INDEX CONVEYOR, PAINT BOOTH, SCREEN PRINTING M/C., TOP/BOTTOM END DIE, TENDOM DIE, JIGS, ENGRAVERS & BAKING OVEN etc. B. FARID AHMED is now able to supply a whole container forming lines for the drum manufacturing industries.

In the early 1970 B. FARID AHMED became acquainted with the Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd. expanding their product line to service & manufacturing equipment for manufacturing quality barrels.
